Providing a loving home and education so they will be able to support families of their own

135 children and young adults now call Georgette mother
Georgette’s passion is education; many of her children attend the school she founded, 20 more are engaged in post-secondary studies, and more than 80 are already supporting families of their own.

Current Needs (donate options)

Professional Training sponsorships:
Upon graduating from high school, Georgette’s children are eager to pursue a trade or profession to support their future families and contribute to their communities. At any point in time, approximately 20 students are engaged in post-secondary studies. Email chair@congoschildren.ca to sign up for our newsletter to receive updates on these students, their successes, and current needs.

Attending professional school costs $1,500 per year, with most programs lasting five years. Medical students face higher costs, requiring $3,600 annually for 8 years to cover tuition, books, transportation, and activity fees.

If you’d like more information about these students’ journeys from relying on donors to supporting their own families, please contact us at chair@congoschildren.ca

Covering Ongoing Monthly Costs:
Every month, Georgette requires approximately $5,250 CAD to cover the children’s needs. Currently, donors contribute $4,150 monthly, leaving a shortfall of $1,100. Closing this gap would ensure that Georgette can continue to provide for the children’s needs without worry.

To provide ongoing support and help close the gap, please fill out our monthly donation form here.
