Accountability

Congo’s Children – Girls eagerly reading the French books brought to them in June 2022

2022 Results

During another challenging year, Accountable Development Works has maintained a commitment of support for over 119 children with meals, education, housing, and healthcare.  In addition, 7,581 children were served with healthcare in the Ubuntu Clinique.  We are truly grateful for your continued support to programs that build community and bring hope.

Audited Financial Statements

We are pleased to provide you with an audited financial report (see below) to demonstrate our commitment to accountability to donors, just as we are committed to a mutually accountable relationship with the organizations and children we support in Sierra Leone, Burundi, and DR Congo.

Volunteers

We’d also like you to know that ADW pays no salaries in Canada. In 2022, dozens of committed people volunteered a total of approximately 2,000 hours providing project advice, raising funds, ensuring good financial reporting, doing long-term planning, and providing moral support to our overseas partners running the homes, schools and hospital clinic.

ADW is very proud of all of its volunteers. The work done is a testament to what caring people can do when compassion and empathy are the driving motivations. This continued volunteer commitment results in the care and education of all the above mentioned vulnerable children in 4 projects with the resources you have entrusted to us.

With gratitude.
