The Need:
An opportunity to support Georgette’s work with orphans and street children!
In Kinshasa DR Congo, there is a home that currently shelters 54 children, run by a wonderful woman named Georgette. She also runs a school for the children, and the Canadian group Congo’s Children is committed to supporting these children until they graduate from post secondary studies and are living independently.
Unfortunately, as in 2020, food prices have tripled due to factors related to COVID 19. Variants are spreading and vaccines are not readily available. Congo’s Children is hoping to once again raise extra funds to help with the cost of meals this summer.
